"I have known Mary for about 4 years in a social capacity and it gives me great pleasure to be writing this testimonial on her behalf.   At all times I have found her to be dedicated, dependable, courteous, hard-working and very conscientious.  I can safely say that she is one of the most talented young ladies I have ever met.

I commissioned Mary to draw a portrait of my Yorkshire Terrier dog.  Firstly, Mary invested the time and effort to get to know my dog (through photographs); this was quite clearly reflected in her work.  I could not believe that someone could turn a photograph into such a breathtakingly beautiful drawing.  Her work is truly ‘exquisite’.  I found that Mary was always willing to go that extra mile just to keep her clients happy.

Mary’s use of shading and light is phenomenal and clearly illustrates that she is not only highly skilled but also intensely creative.  It’s undeniable that her art not only brings great beauty into any room but no doubt will inspire the work of others.

"Late last year I contacted Mary from Your Pet Portraits to see if it would be possible to get a black and white pencil portrait of my dog Tilly for my Dads birthday in December. Mary responded right away and let me know that it would be no problem at all to get that sorted. We discussed which picture of Tilly would be best to base the portrait on and Mary got to work.

Throughout the process Mary sent me lots of progress pictures so I could see the portrait coming to life and it was amazing!

Once the portrait was complete, Mary packaged it up beautifully in tissue paper and ribbon and sent it 1st class recorded delivery to me.
